Had the pleasure of riding a new version of Sarah Swallow’s Sky Islands East Loop with the crew of Campfire Cycling from Feb 18-21, 2023. Was a fantastic route using more of the AZT but sadly having to reroute around the former research ranch grasslands section and camping option that was closed by the new director there. This reroute was interesting and fun, and better in the clockwise direction up Box Canyon on day one and eventually Salero Ranch Road on the last day.
