Met a new buddy, Jonathon Wolff on the OP Hikers FB page and we took a day to hike the very steep Goat Lake Trail from the Dungeness Trailhead. About 11 miles total with some serious, relentless ascending (and descending), loose surface trail and creek bed navigation through slide alder. A truly great day and worth the effort!
